The Fox Valley Wildlife Center is a private, non-for-profit organization that cares for orphaned and injured wildlife. The Center provides hospital care for wild animals that have been impacted by man in some way. Their goal is to release these animals back in to the wild. All staff are qualified wildlife rehabilitators. **The center also offers educational programs both on and off site at schools, clubs, scout programs and community events. Topics focus on wildlife conservation and how humans can best share the world with wildlife. **The center cannot accept skunks or bats - please contact Kane County Animal Control for those species. **Outside Kane County, please see the website for resources in other communities.

May-August: 8 am-5 pm
October-March: 8 am-noon
April & September: 8 am - 2 pm

Intake Process:

Call for information on how to transport the animal to the Center.

Program Fees:

No fee for taking in rescued animals. Fees for educational programs - call for information.




Open to all in Kane County. The Center will accept any kind of wild animal except skunks or bats. No domesticated animals can be accepted.
