Family Shelter Service provides services to victims of domestic violence. Services include in-person and group counseling, legal advocacy and community education services. Emergency shelter is available to abused women and their dependent children, boys up to age 17. Programs are offered for teens who have witnessed or experienced violence in the home, and for Spanish speaking women (Latinas). Family Shelter Service is a member program of the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Counseling for males. Avocates available in the Dupage County Court House Services are provided in English and Spanish.
