African American Men of Unity ( AAMOU ) is a community based 501(c)3 not for profit organization with experience in serving at-risk youth of all ethnic groups. We provide Rites of Passage leadership development, manhood training, life skills and mentoring. Our target groups are youth ages 7- 18 have been diagnosed with social, emotional or behavioral issues; academic deficiencies; or are on probation, under court supervision or wards of the court. We use interactive workshops, demonstrations, technology and positive role modeling to educate youth to avoid gangs, drugs, violence and school failure. We raise self esteem, confidence and self worth, so youth can make better choices, understand the value of education and be contributing members of society.

None ( Contingent on donations and grants )
