Community Living and Employment Support and Services provides assistance to eligible individuals with developmental disabilities who are living with their families or in the community. For those at home, Case Management provides support, assistance, advocacy, and referral to agency and other community services. Respite provides short-term relief to families of individuals with developmental disabilities through flexible in-home or community based services. Home Based Support provides linkage and support for individuals with developmental disabilities to obtain and maintain appropriate services and to develop and maintain independent living skills. Supervised Community Living program provides a 24-hour setting for individuals who need to develop independent living skills. Supported Community Living program is for individuals who have the skills to live on their own in the community, but need intermittent support. Developmental training provides training (including food service) and sheltered employment to individuals with developmental disabilities. Vocational Development provides assistance for individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining community employment through on-site support based on individual need. Janitorial skill training is offered in preparation for competitive employment. Services are provided in English and Spanish.

Clients must be 18 years of age or older and have developmental, behavioral, physical or mental disabilities. Only residents of Hanover Township in Cook County are eligible in addition to the other counties listed.
