Description:

American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois provides legal representation to groups for broad based cases involving governmental abuse of a person's constitutional rights. The work of the ACLU is based upon, but not limited to, protecting the liberties and freedoms guaranteed by the United States Constitution, especially those contained in the Bill of Rights. They also provide referral service for cases not accepted by the ACLU. Spanish is spoken.

Hours:

9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:30 pm-5:00 pm Monday-Friday (These are our switchboard hours. A caller can call our office and follow the directory any time between 9:00 am-5:00 pm); Intake hours 10:30am-4:00 pm Tuesday - Friday

Intake Process:

Please call to speak with an intake counselor. Written/e-mail inquiries also accepted. They do not accept walk-ins or appointments. Intake forms available on-line.
