Family Counseling Service of Aurora's Domestic Violence Services provides treatment programs that help clients prevent future violence in their relationships. Available groups include: MARS(Men, Anger, Recovery, Support) and Teen MARS: partner abuse treatment for males; FAIR (Female Anger Intervention & Recovery) and Teen FAIR: partner abuse treatment for females; Anger Management: 12 week program to help men manage the feelings of anger (who have not been abusive to a partner); Caring Dads: for men who have had incidents of domestic violence against a child; Nurturing Moms: for women who have had incidents of domestic violence against a child. Domestic violence services comply with Illinois standards and guidelines and are 26 weeks long. Voluntary and court ordered clients are welcome. For adolescent services, a parent or guardian must call and schedule an appointment. Spanish is spoken.
